A plea for assistance in  demining the city of Benghazi

Two weeks ago a team from the National Council on US Libya Relations visited Benghazi and toured its recently liberated downtown area. Mines hidden in doorways and rooms of homes of returning refugees have become the number one cause of death in the city. ISIS terrorist spared no effort to cause as much harm as possible in hiding mines. Children, women and elderly are particularly vulnerable.

This is a brief documentary in which NCUSLR contributed in preparing, pleas for help to clear mines by forgotten citizens of Benghazi to the UN, European, American and other governments have gone no where.

The National Council on US Libya Relations calls on all fellow citizens of the world and Americans in particular to assist by any possible mean. Please contact: Hanishennib@ncuslr.org
