The National Council on U.S.-Libya Relations' Youth Representative Mohamed Alarabi attended the Arab Conference at Harvard (AHC) the weekend of April 5th-April 7th, 2019. AHC, organized by the Harvard Arab Alumni Associate, is the largest Pan-Arab conference in North America. AHC 2019 (Re)Imagining Home focused on healthcare, identity, and government & influence in the Arab world and the MENA region.
The conference included a panel on Libya, where the current political and military situation was discussed. The panelists also explained how the multifaceted Arab regional influence in Libya has contributed to fueling the present conflict.
NCUSLR was able to connect with new and old partners and establish communications with key players in civil society development in the Arab world during the conference.
