The NCUSLR-YI Network of Entrepreneurs held its monthly discussion meeting on Sunday, April 28th titled "Success Story,” where successful young entrepreneurs shared their experiences in the field in Libya.
Participants from several Libyan cities and across the globe took part in this fruitful discussion. We were joined by Guest Speaker Fattoum Nasser, a Libyan business pioneer who recently piloted the project, "Yummy," with Athar Development Social Enterprise. Fattoum shared an overview of her project and took questions from participants.
Among our participants were experts in Libyan commerce law who provided valuable advice for future entrepreneurs. This input highlighted the need for technical knowledge in Libyan commerce law amongst young business leaders and, subsequently, critical areas for future legal reform. A discussion on solar energy in Libya also took place during the event. One of our participants, an engineer based in Germany, shared news of a budding project in the area of renewable energy in Libya that will see light in the near future.
The next monthly meeting of the network will be held in May 26th with a new theme and valuable topic in the field of entrepreneurship in Libya.
