NCUSLR Youth Committee: Empowering a New Generation of Leaders in Libya and the US

The National Council on U.S.–Libya Relations (NCUSLR) is proud to relaunch its Youth Committee — a renewed initiative, imagined for today’s generation of Libyan and Libyan-American youth, aiming to give young people a voice in shaping dialogue and initiatives that strengthen U.S.–Libya relations, promote peace and stability, and support Libya’s economic and democratic development.

Our Vision

Working under the NCUSLR, the Youth Committee connects young leaders, fosters dialogue, and creates opportunities for meaningful collaboration. It focuses on expanding knowledge and awareness about Libya’s history and culture, promoting cross-cultural exchange, and providing access to mentorship, skill-building, and professional guidance from experts and scholars who are eager to support the next generation.

Through workshops, mentorships, webinars, and collaborative projects, the committee will empower youth to develop the skills, confidence, and networks needed to make a lasting difference in their communities and beyond.
